How to Open the Rewards Launcher from a Navigation Menu Link

Some merchants prefer not to show the floating button on their storefront, and instead let customers open the rewards launcher from a link in their navigation menu.

  1. Go to Shopify Admin > Content > Menus
  2. Select the menu you want to edit (e.g., Main menu or Footer menu)
  3. Click Add menu item
  4. Set the Name to whatever you'd like customers to see (e.g., "Rewards", "Store Credit", "My Credits")
  5. In the Link field, paste: #redeemly-open-launcher
  6. Click Save

That's it! When customers click the link, the rewards launcher will open. Clicking it again will close it.

Step 2 (Optional): Hide the Floating Button

If you only want customers to access the launcher from the menu link and don't want the floating button visible on your storefront:

  1. Go to your Redeemly app > On-Site Content > Launcher
  2. Scroll down to the visibility section
  3. Check Hide floating button
  4. Click Save

The floating button will no longer appear, but the menu link will continue to work.

FAQ

Can I add the link to multiple menus?

Yes. You can add #redeemly-open-launcher to any menu — header, footer, sidebar, or mobile menu.

Does this work on mobile?

Yes. The menu link works on both desktop and mobile devices.

Can I use both the floating button and the menu link?

Yes. They work independently. You can keep the floating button visible and also have a menu link — both will open the same launcher.

What if the launcher doesn't open when I click the link?

Make sure the Launcher block is enabled in your theme. Go to Online Store > Customize, then check that the Redeemly Launcher app embed is toggled on.
