Hiding store credit offers from specific customers with segments
Can I hide store credit offers from specific customers (e.g., wholesale or staff)?
Yes! Redeemly lets you exclude specific customer types from seeing or receiving store credit offers — using Shopify customer tags and segments.
This is helpful if you want to hide offers from wholesalers, staff, or specific groups like influencers.

🔧 Steps to set it up:
- Go to your Shopify Admin > Customers.
- Find the customer you want to exclude and add a tag (e.g.,
wholesale
).
- 👉 Tip: You can also use Shopify Flow to automatically tag customer types.
- Go to Shopify > Customers > Segments.
- Click "Create segment".
- Use the filter:
Customer tag
→does not contain
→wholesale
(or your chosen tag). - Name it something like
Non-wholesale customers
.
- Open the Redeemly App > Storewide Program (or campaign).
- Scroll to "Specific Customer Segments" and select the segment you just created.
- Hit Save.
✅ Done! Now only eligible customers will see your offer.
